HDMI transmitters and receivers with multi-channel audio from Cypress Technology cover most standard technical requirements for such projects, reaching distances of up to 70 meters using twisted pair cables.

Cypress CH-506TXPLBD together with Cypress CH-506RXPLBD allow to significantly increase HDMI signal transmission using HDBaseT technology. The devices increase the transmission distance of a 4K signal up to 35 meters, and the less demanding 1080p up to 70 meters.

Simultaneously with HDMI video, LPCM 2.0/5.1/7.1 multi-channel audio, Bitstream/HD Bitstream and IR as well as RS232 control signals are also transmitted. The devices also support HDCP 2.2 encoding, CEC control signals and power over a Cat6 PoC cable, when external power is supplied only from the transmitter side.
